With Saint John's North End, we continue our journey into the past of this lively and beloved city. This new pictorial history combines a wealth of over two hundred photographs taken between 1864 and 1975 with insightful commentary. The images cover all areas of the original City of Portland, from Indiantown to Mount Pleasant Avenue, and from Paradise Row to the Reversible Falls. Some of the scenes included werecaptured before the Indiantown Fire of 1899--all are rare and depict a heartfelt appreciation for the North End. Each page turn invites readers to experience a taste of nostalgia. We go to work at the Snowflake Lime Kiln, visit the Community Market, take in a movie at the Regent Theater, or go to Splanes to buy a fishing reel. Readers get reacquainted with some familiar faces like Oakie O'Connor or Carl White. Family and children are not forgotten, as we look at Joe Logan's new tricycle, or watch as every kid on Wellsley Avenue goes bike riding. Come venture into Rockwood Park to see the bear cage, or go swimming at Lily Lake. Watch Solly's hockey team battle against the Atlantic All Stars at the Forum, or relive the excitement of a ball game at St. Peters Park.

Durable but losses interest
Color: Purple & Blue
My dog is an aggressive chewer. She was interested in this toy while it was new, but soon after lost interest. Good news is although it took a beating it did not break or splinter. If soppy toys are disposable in your house, give it a try.

Great for treats
Size: Small
Great for chewers. Tough medium size toy, treat toy, busy entertainment for all dogs. Dry, moist or squeeze food can be placed in the end and sides. My dog loves.

My dogs are smiling!
Size: Small
I have 3 small dogs (ranging from about 10 lbs - 13 lbs). This dental toy was the perfect size. My dogs love it (with or without treats). It is durable, even after lots of chewing. I had bought another brand of the same type of toy and they bit off pieces in the first week. It really has made a difference in their teeth cleanliness and their breath is even fresher. Overall great value and my dogs love it!

Not Suitable For Dobermans or Labradors
Size: Large, Size: Large
In reading all of the reviews, it seemed that most dogs were just not interested in chewing the toy. It is suitable for a dog treat inside but my dogs do not have treats in toys, since both are aggressive dog chewers. Upon opening both packages, I thought this is going to be great for both of them. I purchased two, one for each of them. My male 3 year old, 92 pound European Doberman consistently kept his away from the 1 1/2 year old 65 pound female labrador mix, and within one hour we had already had a break in one of the toys. I do not know which one did it!? Nor do I care. Especially when I had to wake up at 2:30 in the morning to the sounds of vomiting dog toy pieces from my girl. Was it the material that caused the vomiting or that the material is not strong enough for an aggressive tour as advertised? Very disappointed.
