Old-school RG aficionados searching for a high-performance, meat-and-potatoes shredder will feel right at home the first time they strap the Ibanez Standard RG460DX over their shoulder. This solidbody electric guitar boasts a classic RG body, sculpted from solid meranti and bolted to a maple Wizard III neck. The 24-fret jatoba fingerboard offers abundant room for rapid-fire finger maneuvers, and the Shark Tooth inlays give this instrument a stage-ready aesthetic that's sure to impress. Plugging in the RG460DX unleashes a captivating continuum of tones, courtesy of an HSS complement of Ibanez's Quantum pickups. Additionally, the Edge-Zero II double-locking tremolo places an entire arsenal of pitch-abusing pyrotechnics at your disposal with steadfast reliability — even under extremely primal playing conditions. To put it simply, the Ibanez Standard RG460DX is a formidable tool for constructing mind-bending metallurgic musicality.

Incredibly fast Wizard III neck

One of Ibanez's fastest necks to date, the maple Wizard III neck on the RG460DX provides players with a wide platform for all varieties of fleet-fingered fretboard action. This slim and super-comfortable neck lets you easily pull off lightning-fast runs, arpeggios, and hammer-ons while giving you the substance needed for fretting chords. Capping the neck is a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard loaded with jumbo-size frets, perfect for big note bends. From the first time you put your hands on the RG460DX's Wizard III neck, you'll know you've got a guitar built with performance in mind.

Multidimensional Quantum pickups

The Ibanez RG460DX delivers maximum impact and power, thanks to a trio of Quantum pickups. The ceramic-fueled bridge humbucker is a brilliant lead pickup: vibrant yet snarling with an enhanced midrange output when you push it. Meanwhile, the neck- and middle-position single-coil pickups give rise to punchy, blues-flavored tones with a clean treble response. A 5-way lever pickup selector switch, along with master Volume and Tone controls, puts you in complete command of your sound. If you're after maximum tonal tenacity, then the RG460DX will give your amplifier or modeler what it needs.

Palm-mute-promoting Edge-Zero II tremolo

Whether you palm mute with precision or simply have a wild strumming style, few things are worse than getting hung up on your bridge during a furious performance. That's one area in which the RG460DX's Edge-Zero II tremolo really shines; it gets out of the way of your playing while still serving up maximum expression and tuning stability. You'll barely know it's there, thanks to its streamlined profile and recessed fine tuners. Plus, locking studs give you additional tuning stability. As for functionality, we've been using — and abusing — Ibanez's Edge-Zero and its variants around here since the early 1990s, and we can proclaim with the utmost confidence: the Edge-Zero II is among the most reliable double-locking trems you'll ever put your hands on. So, pull the bar all the way up, then slam it down to the body all you want; you can follow it up with a jazz chord, and it'll be perfectly in tune.

and I found two cases that were no longer good law (even though this is the new edition)
This is a required text for Internet Law classes. It is edited very poorly. There are typos on every other page, and I found two cases that were no longer good law (even though this is the new edition).

Bad book for SOA exam, but oh well.
Format: Paperback
While required by Society of Actuaries as the textbook for Short Term Actuarial Models exam, I could not recommend this textbook for any other purposes. Written by two Canadian actuaries, a lot of terms and explanations used in this textbook cannot be transferred into US P&C insurance. It fails to explains insurance's purpose and products effectively and as an intro book with unnecessary sentences to deliver personal thoughts. It is also a mess in following sections on ratemaking and reserving. I cannot sense a flow from this book that guides readers in an approachable manner. Overall, author compromises the size AND the quality.
