The Victoria Mansion, completed in 1860, is located in downtown Portland, Maine and is registered as a National Historic Landmark for its architectural significance as a particularly well-preserved Italianate mansion. Every holiday season they decorate the mansions many rooms with different themes and allow the public to view. This photo is one of the trees setup in a small library, which had dark wood throughout (as you can see in the background shutters) and some lovely decor including an easel with a painting of Santa - which can be partially seen. Its lovely colors and setting make for great holiday puzzle.
